Before there was Abbott Elementary, there was Brown v. Bored. Initially developed in 2016, the original pilot for Brown v. Bored follows Summa cum lade Stanford grad Larissa Brown as she embarks on her journey to a difference in the world by teaching at a Louisiana public charter school. She soon realizes that being type A in a system deliberately designed to fail is going to be a lot harder than she imagined.
